Nor does theatre necessarily need to be based on a new text. It can be a radical reimagining of a classic text. Or a unique interpretation of something old as seen through a new lens (technological or imaginative).

And - of course - there is always a time and place for good traditional theatre done in a good traditional way.
But that is not the kind of theatre that I am interested in making.
